Giving Respect: The Importance & Rewards

Today I just feel like talking about a single word “Respect”. In my lifespan I had seen a very big and unavoidably very important role of this word. U may ignore to give respect in life, but u can’t ignore the ‘after effects’ of ignoring (or giving) the respect. I can say that: Everybody had fallen in luv at least once in life. Leaving exceptions, those who close their heart and life (won’t comment on the reason; could be something too personal); there is no place of luv in their life. So let’s just have a look on the pattern with which we luv a person… If we see closely, then we always fall in luv after getting attracted to a person. We get attracted bcoz the person possesses something which mysteriously had made a huge impact on us. In other words: When u luv someone, u respect him or her for being “the person” that they really are, not the person that u want them to be. After falling in luv, u may want to make some changes in ur partner’s behavior, thoughts, actions, attitude, lifes

Beautiful Article: Guru Arjan Dev

I was so very impressed to see a beautiful article (on Guru Arjan Dev) posted by my wife on her blog Ganappa . I can tell u a lot about Guru Arjan Dev, but I would prefer u to read the original blog. She wrote it beautifully, and here is what I want u to do in ur life to get the blessings..... The reason I was impressed is that she came to knew about this Sikh Guru named "Arjan Dev" a few weeks back only, and she did all kinda research on the net to know more about him. In spite of  being from a different background she took such a deep interest in Guru Arjan Dev's history that she dug up all possible information. The adorable name given to the title of the blog is Forbear, forgive: Guru Arjan Dev and this was the Exact message he gave to this world. By quietly accepting all the torture done by mughals on him, the guru gave the message that the one who accepts to bear the torture is much more stronger then the one who is torturing. The bearer is much more stronger to for

Don't Waste Life

I would rather be ashes than dust! I would rather prefer that my spark should burn out in a brilliant blaze; than it should be stifled by dry rot. I would rather be a superb meteor but temporary with every atom of me in a magnificent glow, than a sleepy and permanent planet. As I strongly believe that the proper function of man is to live, not just exist. I shall not waste my days in trying to prolong them. I shall use my time to best, in a way it(time) really deserves. Wasting time = Wasting ur life. :)

Survival of the fittest

Herbert Spencer coined the phrase, "survival of the fittest." Herbert Spencer (who coined the term) and Charles Darwin. Source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Survival_of_the_fittest I’m nowhere concerned/connected with ecological study, but the reason I’m still using the term “Survival of the Fittest” (SoF) is that I was made aware of this term by a colleague of mine in the office just few days back. Man… our life is based on SoF!! was his words, and I was totally shocked. Bcoz what I knew about this term was that SoF was used to describe the evolution theory for species (animals) and their way of natural selection of evolution. But how the hell this term became applicable from animals to Human beings of 21st century? After talking to many of my friends I realize that due to the fast pace (our lifestyle), people had started believing that the life is competition. I tried to place my belief that competition maybe applicable for work/office, but I found that people (Less then 4

Test of Three

Socrates came upon an acquaintance that ran up to him excitedly and said, “Do you know what I just heard about one of your students?” “Just a minute,” Socrates replied. “Before you tell me I’d like you to pass a little test. It’s called the Test of Three . “ The first test is Truth . Are you sure that what you will say is true? “Oh no,” the man said, “Actually I just heard about it.” “So you don’t really know if it’s true, Socrates said. Now let’s try the second test, the test of Goodness . Is what you are about to tell me about my student something good?” “No, on the contrary..” “So,” Socrates interrupted, “you want to tell me something bad about him even though you’re not certain it’s true?” The man shrugged, rather embarrassed. Socrates continued. “You may still pass though, because there is a third test, the filter of Usefulness . Is what you want to tell me about my student going to be useful to me at all?” “Well it ..no, not really..” “Well, concluded Socates, “ If what you want

Ordering Correctly.

I don’t know what are you expecting from this title, let’s guess what I’m gonna talk about here? Will I talk about correct ways of praying? Difference between Right and Wrong kind of prayers? Give some lecture about Praying? Remind you about the importance of Prayers? I’m not planning to do anything like that, I myself is bored of lectures. I strongly believe that there’s nothing like wrong way of praying, then why did I selected a title like “Praying correctly”?? In fact I’m having something else on my head at the moment; I’m planning to connect this situation with practical life. Like everybody else, u also must have faced lots of struggles, u get tired of them, u said a prayer Oh lord, gimme a good life, and ur faith hopes that the prayer reaches the god, u wait for the prayer to get answered, u wait and wait, and as the patience weakens the faith; u start believing that god is not listening to ur prayers. U feel ignored and lonely, sadness embraces u to the point of suffocation. No
